Albuquerque –
Around 3:45PM on April 15th, 2025, the Albuquerque Police Department and Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian at Rhode Island St NE and Copper Ave. NE. The caller indicated that a woman was ran over by a school bus. There was additional information of a domestic violence incident happening between a male and female prior to the crash.
The bus driver told authorities that they saw the male push the female toward her bus. Due to the danger of the fight, the bus driver did not remain on scene and went to a safe location to call the police.
While on scene, we saw AFR loading a woman into an ambulance with massive head trauma and she was taken to UNMH. She is currently in critical condition. A large pool of blood could be seen on the ground next to a golf club which had unknown significance to the incident.
The suspect fled the scene and was seen heading southbound on Rhode Island, south of Copper Ave. NE.
If we learn anymore information, we will update this story.

No amount of national guardsmen on the streets can help Albuquerque. A large percentage of the population have felony arrests and/or mental health problems and serious, serious drug addictions. The thing you have to ask yourself is, why would anyone decent or honest live there? I left and will never return. The Albuquerque I once knew is long gone and it only gets worse from here, if that’s even possible.

Maybe if we kept people locked up for once instead of this revolving door of a justice system we have.
Criminals are back out on the street in 24 hours. They give 0 f*cks.Reply
